anyone tired of eating turkey yet?

We’re officially in holiday mode and whenever these two lil’ elves* haven’t been cooking and entertaining, we’ve been cranking away in our respected studios. We are working on all sorts of items for Christmas presents as well as an upcoming holiday market at Silo Distillery.

EVOLVING TRADITIONS in artful newsletter

The Guild of VT Furniture Makers exhibit is open to the public and Susan Apel, a local writer on art and culture in the Upper Valley, had wonderful things to say about it in her newsletter, Artful:

“Nick English (Bridgewater VT) has been working on the Derby Tea Table. Spare, beautiful lines, and a video shot over three days by Erin English that is nothing short of magical. The video is part of the BMAC exhibition because it shows “the complexity and craftsmanship behind each piece.” Watching Nick English construct a table is what you need with your morning coffee.”

Thank you, Susan! If you’re in the Brattleboro area, check out the amazing work by all the guild members yourself in person. It’s on display now through February 2022.
